Fuel comming out of carb

I have an edelbrock carb and when I start the car fuel starts bubbling out of the carb. I know it's not fuel presure. Could it be a floal lvl problem? I'm still quite new to carbs and any help would be great.

sounds like a needle and seat problem, take the top off, blow it out, and make sure you have a fuel filter in the line, seen a few people throw them on and go without filters.

I had the same thing happen to me on my 600cfm edelbrock. One of the floats had a pinhole leak that filled half of the float up with fuel. Just take the top plate off and pull each of the floats off and shake them to see if there's fuel inside them. You should be able to get them cheap at your local parts store.
