Its called RTV and rags....lol.
I dunno,...but I hear mixed opinions on the Softseal stuff...someone mentioned that NPD or the Paddock had great seals....

Is your car cheap otherwise I don't even know why you would be looking for cheap weatherstripping. You get what you pay for, but if you don't care enough to spend more money for quality. I bought the aftermark from classic industries and it is bad, so now I am stuck with that crap and have to spend more money on the quality weatherstripping if your doing your t-tops I wouldn't try to cut corners. You'll end up spending more money in the end. IMOP

Remember, not all T-tops are created equal... If you have aftermarket tops, then all bets are off.

I bought GM seals for my 81 Z28 and they didn't fit. Having already ripped up the old dry rotted seals that were there I didn't have much choice but to "make them work". 1/2" of black rtv in the inside corners at least sealed out the water. The only set of soff seal t-top seals I bought went on my son's 83 Z28 and they fit like a glove! Perfect. I'll try soff seal again when I replace the t-top seals on my 86 IROC. One set of each doesn't make for a very good comparison, but it's the only one I have.

Bad T-top seals wont ruin your roof, but it will let water get into your interior, which ruins the seats/carpet.
