Swaybar brackets measurement
I need to know the swaybar bushing size to get for my '73. Look at the link. My bars diameter is 1 1/4". What is the bracket size??? I don't have my car here to measure. I need to order the parts tonight.

I got the endlinks figured out. Our cars use the 9.8117. That's 2 5/8".
Is there any difference between the red and black bushings other than color?

no difference. contrary to popular belief red is not gonna make it faster or handle better
here is what i got 9.5172 or 9.5165 these are both the greasable shells.
can you go measure from center to center on your old bracket? that will determine which one to use. i used the one on the left or 9.5165 i know there is no shoulder on my bracket itself like the bracket #9.5172
thats for a 11/4" bar
it looks like the one on the right would be a tight fit with the bolts. and if you had to woller out the bolt holes towards the inside the bolts might hit the shell part. if it were me i would get the 9.5165

I don't have the car at with me to measure. I have heard people on other sites talking about the red and black being made out of different materials.
What did yours measure center to center?

I am going to go measure this morning. Going to the car is way out of my way, but I want to order the bushings before the morning delivery is out. I am going to get the smallest ones most likely. When I get home later tonight I will post what the actual size is. That way it will show up on searches if anyone else has the same troubles.

I measured my car this morning. The right size ended up being the 9.5165 for the greasable fittings. That is the smaller of the two.
I ordered them this morning. The G at the end of the part # is for black, R is for red. I got the black ones.
