best brake kit MC included for autoX and road race

I am building my 79 Z28 for street/track car. open track days (road racing) and auto X
torquey SOB 406, ride tech suspension, TKO600 .84 gear
what brakes will bring the car to a stop in a hurry?

c5 works well. with a ls1 rear if you need a parking brake or do a c5 rear if you dont. 13" rotors up front and 12" in the rear. you should be able to do front and backs less a master cylinder for under a grand. thats pennies for a quality brake setup.

But.....the C5 brakes require a min of 17" rims, but so will any large diameter braking system..... I'm itching to try out the C5 system on my car

The Baer "Track" setup is pretty damn good for Auto-x and street use. If you really want to go roadracing (30+ min sessions) you will want to look at their "Extreme" system with the 14" rotors and Alcon calipers... of course this is 2x as much money. Use that with a Tilton 2 master pedal assy and its all over.
