I used Peel & Seal and you want to make sure you have a nice clean surface. I cut mine in big pieces, but it really doesn't matter much as long as it sticks.

I used two layers on the floorboards and the firewall. I also used a wire wheel to clean off some of the crap on the wheelhouses behind the rear panels. Then I used tack rags for painting to get as much loose dust out. The problem with my car was that the interior sheetmetal was primered and yours may not be such a pain.

This shows how mine looked when I got started.

Well... I have a bunch of stuff to do still. I have more Peel & Seal to put on, but that's probably the easy part. Everything else I have do to are non-stock modifications. That's the problem with trying to make something so nice.

I don't know if you saw my web page, but it might give you an idea of what I have left My 73

awesome work. I like to see that fabricated front. You have given it a lot of thought. It will pay off with a fine handling (and looking) car. Can't wait to see it completed. Thanks-dave

That front end is from Martz Chassis

You really have to be careful when adding all of these "trick" upgrades because it makes everything a real pain. All of the little stuff is what gets to be the worst. Just the steering linkage for that subframe is going to cost me about $260 or so when it's done.

I am not supposed to be on my feet much til monday...bet I can't wait though. I will start with the peel and stick tommorow ,after the wife goes to work,,,
