It's just a very tedious job. Save your back and remove both front seats first, then the center console. It makes crawling under the dash so much easier. Disconnect the battery. Then remove the lower dash plastic. You'll need to disconnect the vents from the flex hoses. That should make it easier to unplug everything on the gauge cluster. Remove the gauge cluster. I would leave the dash pad in place, or else you need to disconnect a lot of crap. You should now have access to all the wiring and ducts to tidy it up. Just leave enough slack on the wires so you can plug the gauges back in before you fasten the cluster to the pad. I just did this myself. Aftet I tied the wires neatly, I uncased them in pieces of that split plastic tubing. It keeps them neat and gives added protection against rubbing on sharp edges of metal under the dash.
