Covering the plastic interior parts with leather

any one ever cover the plastic portions of the interior in a nice leather?

I knew a guy when I was in highschool that did it to his chevelle when he hit a cow at 80 mph.

I've thought about it, but seems too difficult and probably wouldn't look right except for the vinyl door panels and maybe rear quarters. I thought about fabric as well, like what they put in modern cars.

Was it a male cow? That'd explain the bulls#it.

Anyway, some of those pieces would be hard to cover with all the compound curves, but it would probably look pretty decent if done right.

I've thought about this but never tried. It would take some imaginative solutions dealing with the rear quater and kick panel pieces that wrap into the doorframe area..not quite sure how you could make those ends look right, particularly where the sill meets the quarter panel piece. Also, the sail panel area would probably have to remain ABS because of the way it slips into the upper door pieces.
