Got my new weatherstripping installed!

I finally got my new weatherstripping installed, at least on the doors. What a difference! My window felts were so far gone that I didn't realize they were supposed to have a little rubber strip on the OUTSIDE of the door . It was quite a task to remove the inner felts without destroying the 24 year old plastic at the top of the door panel. I also spent a lot of time getting the windows adjusted correctly. It sure is nice to get rid of all those rattles in the doors.

Now I need to pull and re-seal my back window

Oh yeah, the weatherstripping is Soff Seal and the felts are Re-pop. The driver's side felts fit really well, the passenger side was off a little, but not bad. The weatherstripping all fits great.

There is a stop bolt located on the bottom, middle under the door glass which allows the window to travel beyond it's normal travel. Loosen/unbolt this part, lower the window down furthur than usual and simply access the screws which hold the window felts in place.

Yup, just lower the window stop and the window will drop down far enough...
