Wanted pictures of 73 auto shift console
I was wondering if there is a gear indicator plate on the left of the shifter on the console of a 73 with a turbo 400 tranny. The console has two vertical slots one for the shifter and the other for I guess a gear postion indicator. Anyone have pictures of one? If there was one anyone know where to get a replacement?

according to the restoration catalogs the 73-78 shifter plate does not have a gear indicator on it since it was located in the dash the later 79-81 shift plates had the shift indicator in them, i have a 79-81 shift plate if u are looking for one

73 Auto console shift plate
I have an OEM plate from my 73's console in very good condition you can have for $20 + $3 shipping. There is no indicator in these consoles or opening in the plate as others have said. The indicator is shown on the dash.
