Robert Duvall, Apocalypse Now (1979): You smell that? Do you smell that? Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...

I don't think PUI sells retail, but they supply most of the resto places with the door panels. If you need samples of different colors, they will send out samples. If you need to special order, the Paddock does special orders with PUI.

I do not want to spend a lot. Is there any way I can buy a template or something, so I can put my own together, because I do not want stock looking panels. But I also do not want to spend more than $150 for both panels.
Does anyone sell just a blank panel with nothing on it?? So I can do my own thing. Even though I have no clue?

No one is making a top rail piece - the plastic underneath the door panel that gives it some stability where you prop your are at the window. Your best bet may be to get some off the swap meet local to you and go from there.

You could buy some coroplast, trace out the pattern, cut it out and attach it to your tops and then glue some uphostery on top. I can't see that costing more than $50.

The Paddock lists the upper plastic inner door panel rails on there site. They are expensive though, $125 a pair.

Here is a cheap solution. Use garnish rails from any 70-75.(I bought a pair on e-bay for $45.) You can paint them any color you want. This takes care of the upper door panel.
You can now use your old door panels as templates for the rest of the door minus the area that now has the garnish rails. Cover in vinyl or carpet or both.
Clip or screw them on & your done.

Is there anyway to sew my own pattern?
I saw something on TRUCKS! about a company that makes panels for many car and truck applications, they give you materials and inserts and you can make your own deseign. Any one know about that, because I forgot.
