Chiltons says 30 lb*ft on the bolts.
The pattern starts with the center pair of bolts on each side - do the rear one of that pair, then the rear one of that pair on the other side. Next the front two of the center pairs, and keep working in a spiral pattern outwards. Hope that makes sense.
I also usually do it in two stages just to make sure everything is torqued evenly and is flat - one pass at 15 lb*ft, then a second at 30.

Hey, I thought I hear sometime in the past you torque the aftermarket aluminum intakes less than the factory cast because the pressure could crack it??

Intake doesn't matter....if it's an SBC then the torque specs are 30 lbs./ft.
Torque in 2 or 3 stages, then check every week cause heat/cold cycles will relax the gasket.

What about the 4 center bolts? How do you meassure their torque?
It's near impossible to get to them with anything else than a standard forkwrench.
I recently installed a Edelbrock Performer, but I tightened the bolts to the point where they felt tight, but not overlytight. Offcourse I did tighten them in the order they should be, starting with the center ones.
