72 Camaro Hood Hinge Color

Does anyone know what this color is supposed to be for a factory correct restoration? Also, does anyone have a suggestion on where I might find a can of this particular color?

I think it is natural but I have seen some that look like they have an oxide coating .....Eastwood

either black oxide,as stated above, or eggshell black(30% flattener)

The ORIGINAL CORRECT Plating did NOT come out of a can. The Original Plating was Zinc Phosphate or Ive seen Darker Examples that might have been MANGANESE Phosphate.....
Now having said all that, IF you dont care about Concours Judged accuracy, MANY nice cars are done with a variety of MIXED, Blended together coats of Flat Black and Cast Blast paint ......fogged on DRY!!
