1970 camaro SS 396 L-34.

I am fairly certain, but want to make sure that alternator #1100834 is the correct one for my 1970 L-34 car. In manual it says for Base cars. I do not regard the L-34 as base car. I do not have AC or rear window defogger.

I don't have direct experience but the GM Parts Catalog lists it as:

1970 37 Amp - 6 Cyl. Eng. - Exc. P.S.
1970 37 Amp - 307, 350/250 & 300HP/ or 396/350HP/ Eng. - Exc. A.C.

It seems correct based on that with the L34 being 396/350 HP and you not having AC.

Unless it has been replaced, it is also date coded.
