I can't say for sure because I don't have a 70 Z28, but that number was commonly used in 1970. I have one in my parts box with the 1119515 number that I took off a 1970 Caprice years ago.
I expect it is right. Some of the guys with 70 Z28s should be able to confirm it.

Hi,
I am restoring a 1970 Z-28 Camaro and yes the "515" is the correct voltage regulator. If you need a restored correctly dated original you should contact John Pirkle Sr. He is listed every month in Hemmings and gets about $55.00 for the original dated part. I got a January 70 from him for my February 1970 car. John Pirkle Sr is listed in the Camaro and Corvette parts sections under Delco Remy.

Regarding a Pirkle restored voltage regulator or horn relay, etc.......besides obviously replating the zinc cover, can somebody send me picture of EXACTLY what it is that he restores......curious if and how he dissasembles internals to replate base metal........Chuck S
