First Passes in my turbo Camaro

Figured since im actually making passes in my car now I can post some stuff here. Took my Camaro out last night for the first time and couldn't be happier with how it ran. Literally didn't have to turn a bolt just open the laptop up and add some fuel a few times. Right off the trailer, rolled it out and it went 7.2 @ 105. Made a few adjustments and leaving on the transbrake at 2lbs and going to 11lbs about half way through the run and 18 degrees of timing it went 6.6 @ 107. Now some e85 and getting it to leave harder with more boost, timing and turning it up all together....should be fun....

Some vids of last night.

Its on the 2 step.....he is spooling the turbo up. It has a 5.3 LS motor in it.....Good buddy of mine, he is the one that convinced me to build the turbo setup in my car.

Nice looking build. Where in San Diego are you? I am out here working on one of the ships at the base. I saw on the slip that you ran at Qualcomm stadium. I would be interested in seeing the car run, do you plan on taking it out again this year?

Thanks, I live about 5 minutes out of downtown off the 94 freeway. Im going to run it at the antique drags at Barona Dragstrip on the 6th of October. Its a pretty good race to check out, usually about 200 cars there.

That looks like a good time, I'll try to make it. Is there a swap meet? Car show? Think they would let me run my rental car down the track?

Haha its just pre 73 cars I believe. Just a race, the pits are usually completely packed. No room for anything else.
