Finish my car..

Interior, and a roll cage...Proper racing seats..

Install a ZR-1 or ZL-1 supercharged modern engine, and a Six speed..

Repaint just because the Car needs door hinge work and the paint is 28 years old...

I have been eye balling C4 Vettes for some time. I have been itching to get my hands on another TPI for some time.

I'm done.

I'm buying them built from now on, it's cheaper.

probably 50% of the reason i buy old cars is to fix them up it is a large part of the enjoyment i get from owning them!!
that said before i croak i would like to build a t bucket or some type of open raodster, sbc with some sick tunnelram/crossram type of set up.

After I finish my car, I totally agree with you..

First, it will be cheaper, and second, less headaches...

Put my hands and bloody knuckles on enough cars in my 52 years...Time to move on..

I've realized all these parts I buy are to get modern Corvette like performance.
It's costing me an arm and a leg. 30-40 year old technology , leaving it alone......it's not possible for me.

I think it's wise to just buy a Corvette next round , and I will probably daily drive the thing.
Depreciation helps us in that regard......it does not when building cars.

I just wish there was as many parts for Pro-Touring on Craigslist like Craigslist has for your house.
You wouldn't BELIEVE the deals I've been scoring on CL lately......it's unreal how cheap I've gotten
so much for my new house.

First off I want the camaro to finally be done. After that though I have had the itch for a 30's chevy pickup for a little while, not sure if I would street rod it or pro street it though.

I would like to do a pro-touring style 1st Gen, Camaro or Firebird. Pro-touring in the true sense, A/C, heat wipers, modern brakes and drivetrain. Full chassis car with modern suspension. A drive anywhere, anytime car...

I just towed this guy home yesterday

to answer your question with pictures. It's the 32v motor. Runs but needs some misc electrical attention.

I like fast cars just as much as the next person, but 2ft of suspension travel, 4 funny car caged seats front and rear, and 900hp sounds fun also.
