caltrac vs assassin

Anybody have any experience with the Smith Race Craft assassin traction bars? Looks like there's alot more adjustability on the assassin than the caltracs. Just wondering if the assassins work or are over priced junk.

Good questions, one thing is for sure the Maxx Traxx bars are made of some very heavy duty materials as compaired to S.A.L. or C.T.
I have a pic. or two somewhere and I will also see if I can dig up anything else on them...

This is a prototype pic. I am not sure if the prodution versions are the same...

Those look like the assassin bars. Any idea how well they work on a multi leaf set up? Eventually I'm planning on switching to a mono leaf but in the mean time I'm stuck with the multi leaf.

I've read on Yellow Bullet that they work very well.I looked into them and didn't like that you have to drill a hole in your leaf spring to locate the front pivot.

That bar attachment point up front where it bolts into the multi hole area is not a very strong design, hoping that's just a proto-type thing.

Are you saying that from the picture or have you seen them break? It seems like the holes would wallow out from the bolt beating on it after a while.

Also anyone run a split mono leaf like in the first picture?
