Rock auto

Has anyone ever bought anything from them ? They seem to have some great prices and wanted to know how the quality of the stuff is. They have a great buy on belt mldgs. Don't see how they can sell them that cheap.

I love Rock Auto, they have the best prices period!! and as for quality, just look at the brand you're buying, its usually AC Delco stuff, but not always,so do your own research. They have great customer service too!!

I bought all the door rubber, trunk rubber, inner and outer window beltlines from
Rockauto. I have also bought quite a few other parts too.

Do a search for "discount code" (usually the 3rd Gen F-body site has a current
one posted - 3rd Gens need a LOT of parts to keep running) on google and use
it to get a couple dollars off.

I've used Rock Auto to supply parts for my Camaro, Astro, and Tacoma. Just watch out for excessive shipping charges on your order. They will often ship from two or three different locations on the same order and will assess shipping charges from all locations. I have cancelled several orders because of this. In a couple of cases the total shipping charges were greater than the cost of the parts ordered. Other than the shipping charges I've been quite happy with the parts supplied from Rock Auto.

DITTO!

Awesome prices but watch out for shipping and core charges. I went to buy 2 calipers for my '73 and they want a $30 core fee PER CALIPER! I have a project car that didn't have calipers on it, so the core charge is real for me.

even with the excessive shipping charges they are decent to deal with and almost always have super cheap closeouts on brakes and wear parts. I have been using them for years and no real complaints. the cheapest OE quality brake pads I have been able to find, and I do look.
the shipping issues I have encountered are they seem to ship from different warehouses and when orders get split up it seems the shipping is a' la carte from each warehouse. strange, but thats how they do it.

I just recently got two AC Delco radiator caps from them to replace the 20 year
old one on the engine swap radiator. I didnt want the chain store metal one. It
cost about 6 dollars a cap, and buying two didnt raise the 6 dollar shipping.

I've used Rock Auto for some time and generally have been pleased. Lately though, I have found that it pays to check prices on Amazon. I just bought some strut mounts and stabilizer bar links for our van and the prices on Amazon for exactly the same parts was significantly better on Amazon mostly because of free shipping on Amazon for orders over $25.

I'm going to give them a shot on a couple of things then. On most things there prices are hard to beat.
