A stock one was a blast to drive, I don't know what they had in them from the factory but the girl that let me drive hers....man that thing handled and moved out pretty good. They were pretty popular when they came out, I liked the body style too. that one looks like it has had a bunch of work done body panel wise, I don't recall ever seeing one that looked like that, it is sweet.

The Fiero was typical GM .. push something out half thought out to the public
and get a bad rep, then completely revamp the car in its final year ....
The original Fiero had a Citation front suspension/driveline in the rear and the
Chevette from suspension up front. The final year it was all new. Similar to
the investment they put into the Solstice and the Sky coupes. Why didnt one
of those cars come back as a Chevy or Buick?? What a waste GM!

That car would be a maintenance nightmare.
Cool to drive, but good lord.....look at how tight that engine bay is.
You'd have to pull the motor each time you had to do any work to it.

The V8 fiero conversion is old news.. Remeber when they have ferrari and lambo inspired body kits for fieros and they did v8 swaps then too. I have driven one that had a Cad northstart Supercharged v8. it was fun as hell but a little scary because I was to tall to fit properly in the drivers seat.

They show some before shots, and other fiero swaps using normal SBCs and at least 1 LT motor, but you cant miss all the pics of that brand new LS7 crate they are prepping.
That car is just nuts. Stupid fast.
