USB Power Port

Does anyone know where to buy a USB power port, similar to this one? I have searched high and low, but all I can find are the ones you plug into a cigarette lighter.

I was thinking if I could find a factory one, I could do a flush install into the sides of the center console by hanging it off one of my distribution blocks. It would almost look factory. I may need to go down to the Pick N Pull and hunt for one bc I cant find anyone selling this piece.

I think this would work, but its in London

Look up "Dash mount usb port" on Amazon, and see if any of those please you. I might get me one.

Just get one of the cig lighter usb ports, take it apart, and wire it directly to the 12v acc. of the fuse block. I did this in my VR and and made a little mount similar to a aftermarket guage and put it under the dash. Looks factory and the VR now has a USB port for charging devices.

Thanks guys! This is what I have been looking for! I may rig up 2 or 3 of these. They are cheap and it's easy to do.

Im on Waytek's site now. Their search engine leaves a little to be desired. Got a part number?

I found this and the 2.5 Amp is nice, but the panel looks bigger than what I am looking for.

You could probably trim it down to the size you wanted with a belt sander very quickly.

Cool idea for the USB dash mount!

Search panel mount usb. There all over ebay. Mouser also has them. I need a double stack so I can tune my Megasquirt without crawling under the dash.

How weird. I was looking into doing this today and just stumbled across this thread. Where are you mounting it? Im planning on the inside of my center console so its hidden and just hardwire it

Im leaning towards this one. I can mount it on the bottom of my center console liner and not take up much room at all

There is a much nicer one on ebay. Plus a an audio jack. I could see this for the kids portable dvd player.

I'm still looking, but I am trying very hard to avoid the cig lighter socket. I have this idea that if I can find a nice flush mount we could mount it on the side of the console to make it more discreet.

That one looks like you could replace the cigarette lighter socket with that.
