Which Windshield Molding Clips Will Work???

I need to replace some of the front clips on our 1980. NPD has a set listed for 70-75, Classic has two sets, one listed for 70-72 and one listed 75-79. NPD says their clips "should" work, anyone used any of these from either supplier?

The molding will interchange so I believe the clips are the same throughout the 2nd gen model years.

That is what I was thinking, but when I called NPD, the guy said he wasn't sure. Never called classic. Just seems odd that both suppliers would list the part, but not include the entire range of years. I hate ordering parts, assuming something and then finding out it doesn't work or fit right..... waste of time.
