First Camaro! 80 Z28!!

Hey guys! i recently just bought my first camaro, its an 1980 Camaro Z28 that has a brand new crate 350 with a factory 4 spd. This is going to be a car my dad and i fix up together. Looking forward to being on this forum and getting some advice from you camaro guys! thanks!

here are some pictures from when i just brought it home
i really liked the car because of it having t tops and factory 4 spd, also the new crate 350 rated at 290hp helps as well

more to come as the sanding starts!!

Welcome to NastyZ28. Love the car. There is somthing i just love about seeing a camaro before the start of the project. Whats up with the hood? Hinges stuck? Spray some wd-40 or penetrating oil on the pivot points in the hinge and that will clear up quickly. -Matt

Very cool!! Body looks to be in good shape all things considered. With that new crate engine you'll be able to drive and enjoy while you fix it up

Im the nicest a-hole you have ever met.
If you made money after restoring a car. you didn't build it rite.
To be the best the only helping hand you need is at the end of your own wrist.

Looks like a good solid starting point. Just what every young guy needs,.... a red Z28 with a 4 gear and T-roof. IMO those GMPP crate 290 HP mills are just aching for a vortec head swap,..... but concentrate on the more important things first. Good luck with your project
