Did you get it all done? 5-6 months since the last post.
I'm putting a T-56 350-TBI combo into my son's '72 using the stock '97 T-56 Bell, and I'm going to try to adapt the Hyd master and slave from the 97 SS donor. anyone done that?

Yes, you can do that. You will need to use the 97 clutch and flywheel also (assuming it is a 1-pc rear main seal engine like it should be if TBI.

I know the engine and trans will bolt together, I have all the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, my question is, has anyone adapted the stock LT1-T56 Hyd master and slave to a 2nd gen, I was also wondering if the flywheel balance is different, I read quite a few times in here, and at a 3rd gen forum that they are balanced the same for a 87 up 350(TBI, TPI, vortec, etc.) thanks for the reply
