Any tricks to keeping armrest from pulling out?
I can't keep my armrest from pulling off! I've tried toothpicks, bigger screws, and new holes! What else is there?

They keep pulling out of the door. Nobody ever pulls harrd on them, but any little pull yanks them right out.

If you have a mig welder... You can put a couple of beads of weld around the enlarged holes to give the screw something to bite into.

Get yourself a riv-nut tool (should have been done this way from the factory). If you arent familliar with what it does, it is a threaded insert that screws onto the tool, then you put it into the hole as if it were a rivet. Once you have it in there and it is squeezed in tight, you remove the tool and you now have threads to accept a bolt.....much much stronger. I bought mine at the local Fastenal store.

Yeah, these are excellent for bolting things to sheetmetal. I've used them all over the place. Great way to mount up my radiator fan and stuff like that.
