help with 5 speeds tran

want help with put 1982 to 1992 5speed or 1993 to 2002 v-6 5 speed in a 1981 z28 4 speed car for 18 years old son t56 is not in the plan now so the question is this a easy swap?

Here's a thread on a T5 swap http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228456 Keep in mind these transmissions are weak and if your son beats on this it won't last long. It's not worth the effort to install a T5 imho. I'd rather save the money for a T56 or a TKO-600 5-speed then do the swap.

A V8 T5 is a decent trans, but no way would I put a V6 one behind a V8, not going to live long behind a V8. I would look for an 87-92 World Class T5.
