700r4 I.d.

I have aquired a 91 700R4 to swap into my project 70 RS. From what I have read, this later year is more desireable. I would like to figure out what car model it was originally installed in. Many google searches have not helped. Here are the numbers:

Case: 8676358
Prod stamp: 1WCM291C 1=1991, M=700R4, 291=day, C=shift, WC=?
VIN stamp: CM4111434

I am interested in dealing with Jakeshoe for the parts.
The FREE information he posts on the net were of tremendous value in straightening out my TH400.

Thanks

700r4

I don't think any of those numbers will tell you what it came out of,I may be wrong.I'm just getting done rebuilding a 700r4 for my 78.I can tell you if your running more than 500 HP or power adders the 700r4 is not what you want.A good safe HP is around 450-475.Mr. Jake doesn't deal with 700's much. 91's are good years.I used 700r4l60e,com for my rebuild kit (roadrace),because when I called Danna talked to me & went in to detail about his kit.
