Steel Hood WTB - Not L88 Hood
I currently have a fiberglass L88 hood on my 1970 Camaro. The L88 is not my thing and will be changing it over to a 2-3" steel cowl hood.
Ive looked, prices are right around $300 - $350. Has anyone bought one from a manufacturer and liked/hated it? I live in Illinios so Tamraz and D&R Classic are close by. Any experience would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone wants to buy my L88 hood, let me know.

It was on the car when I bought it, so Im not sure. I can look for a tag on the engine side when I get home. $150 - which is 37% of what they cost new.

If I was you I would drive over to Tamaraz and pick me one out. They had poor reviews due to shipping but you could eliminate that. They have good prices also. I currently have the 4" cowl from harwood and it is a bolt on but someone messed up the bolt holes in the front so I have it pinned. I want a smaller on so it is easier to see over. Very nice looking 70 btw.
Edit: There you go quad racer. In Ohio too.

I have the steel cowl hood from CLassic industries. It is a great hood. I wish they made a taller steel cowl hood.
