Teriaki turkey jerky
While I was at the meat market I picked up a pound of smoked turkey breast with the intentions of making our delicious jerky. He sliced it much thinner than I usually get. About 3/16" if I had to guess. I was difficult to hang with the toothpicks; we had to cut em into smaller pieces than usual but I'm glad we did. They were awesome!!!! Like little turkey chips, a little bit crispy that made em even better than ever had in the past.
They were gone in about 20 minutes.
Just thought I would share.
just dip em in teriaki, hang in the oven at lowest setting for about an hour n a half or so.

Just plug a couple of those turkeys as they walk through your yard and slice their breasts up. Should be even better.

Do you do anything with the turkey to kill any bacteria first, like boiling it?
I make beef jerky and dry it out at 145 degrees. That seams to do the trick for beef.
I'm hesitant to try turkey for that reason though...

lol. Thanks for the offer!
We actually were thinking of heading to the coast to go camping and the aquarium this weekend (first time with the kids).. but, we have so much stuff to get, as after the divorce and everything, all i got is basically a tent. lol.
we decided to just make it a day trip to the aquarium instead. and start saving up for all the extra camping gear needed.
