A tribute to the late Todd Garshore -Bear Brakes-

There are a group of pro-touring enthusiast called ""The RatPack and Friends"" that are building a cool second gen in the name of the late Todd Gartshore of Baer Brakes....
Todd was a true car enthusiast and did more for the average car guy than most will likely know.... He served on multiple boards of SEMA and other industry leadership boards and assisted in forging many of the SEMA/industry polices we know and see today...

Unfortunately Todd,,,, a good friend to the community,,, had his life cut sort in his early 50's by a massive Heart Attack... We welcome any board members here that knew Todd or had the good fortune of meeting him in celebrating his life through an act I'm sure he would endorse fully in life.... The build of a special car "'''The Gartshore Special""" that will cross this country spreading the word for the "Victory Junction Gang" and putting smiles on faces only to end up at auction with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity...

I as both a pro-touring member and a proud Nasty Member lay down this challenge to the Nasty Board..... I challenge the Nasty board to rally and add value to the effort of this fund raising effort... I'm not asking for you to reach into your back pocket,,,, no I'm interested to see how the board as a community can act as a united force and create a Nasty board value as we move forward....

The cause is sound,,, the dedication is steeped in class and we're all looking to make a difference for some great kids,,,, and in memory of a great guy that most likely touched your life without you knowing it...

I do believe both Mary and Scott are admins over here..... I ask please that you guys consider this your personal project,, work the updates and show the world what,,, and who """The Nasty Board Is""" while making a difference in Tod's name for the kids....

Now finally we present the car we plan to campaign in 2012 and ultimately auction with 100% of the proceeds to charity.... Enjoy and get involved please ;-)

P.S. In closing please excuse the corporate logo on the car as I had the car drawn by Ben Hermance earlier this year.... In the actual build the logo will be replaced....

Will do!! Is there a Facebook page for the build? If not, it would be a great idea to help spread the word.

I knew Todd when he was with B&M and heading the supercharger divisions. The guy was definitely involved and always finding ways to make the aftermarket a respectable business and not just a bunch of greasy hot rod hoodlums!

Thanks for the Thread Tazzz

Hi and thanks guys sorry it's been a little nuts.... No there isn't a face book page yet,,, but one is being developed as I understand it....

Kamikaze, you knew him for what he really is/was,,, a great man who did tons for our industry...
Please try to do what you can to be involved in any way you feel comfortable as this develops along as I'm sure Todd would be proud to know he left and impression and his memory was still making a difference...
