LSx HEATER HOSE
What heater hose fits the ls water pump and the 2nd gen heater core?
stock 80 camaro hoses are 5/8 and 3/4
stock 02 camaro hoses are 5/8 and 9/32
My question is what did you guys use for the other hose? adapter? change out the pump fitting? mod the heater core? help please thanks.

I don't think the '02 has a 9/32 (just 1/32 larger than 1/4). I think I just used the stock hose sizes (5/8 & 3/4).

Just use the stock camaro sizes, that's what I did. I just got a length of both sizes needed and cut them to fit.

I had to buy some molded hose pieces to bend around the control arm at the pump connection. I used some brass sleeves to tie the molded hoses to the hoses going to the heater core. Used 5/8 and 3/4 too

I'll try to get some pics if they are not in my thread. When I put the straight hoses on, it looked like a bad bend that would rub. I bent some wire into shapes that would work an went to autozone and matched up hoses. Worked good

I just tie-wrapped extra thick pieces of old radiator hoses around the areas that were close to rubbing on the a-arms. I also hard routed the hoses to bend around the a-arm mount as best as I could.
