Dash pad gauge bezel mounting tabs broken

All the mounting tabs the hold the gauge panel in place are broken off on my 1970 dash. The homemade gauge panel was held in with zip ties, now I know why. I think I have one located but I would like to know of any tricks that has been used to repair one. The rest of the dash is in good shape but the plastic around the gauge area is very brittle. I was thinking of trying some JB Weld to glue some plastic angle brackets in place. Help!

It is not the gauge cluster tabs that are broke. It is the tabs on the dash pad.
All the tabs are broke on the dash. I made some metal pieces that I am going to try to JB Weld into place but I would like to hear if anyone has been successful repairing the dash pad tabs.

If there is any part of the tabs left, use a j-nut.

That's what I did for the one broken tab I had.

I used 1/8 inch thick PVC board and use a heat gun to soften the strips and then I molded them to the dash. Once those cooled, I used JB weld to stick them down. Drilled a hole and used a J-nut to secure the bezel in place. Worked great!

Thanks Scatter. That sounds like an easier way to fix it than I was going to try to do.
