Actually they are all around the outside of it too, in various locations. The easiest way without pulling the front clip is just start L to R, tag & bag bolts and screws, and take lots of pictures as you go. Proceed slowly, the urethane nose is hard to replace but is also easily repaired most times. Depending on how hard he hit the sign, you may need to replace / repair the fiberglass piece (#49 in DIA. above) under the cover too.

Nose Pics
BTW, is your son OK? My guess is he was more worried about wrecking Dad's car than anything. #49 is made of fiberglass, emailing the pictures now, it will take a little bit. Yahoo only allows 5 attachments. Here is the thread for when I repaired the front bumper cushion ((#46) made of foam rubber):

There is more on this on the 1st page of my project thread near the bottom

yes he and his date were fine, he was scared to death i was going to kill him. If it wasn't prom i might have yelled, but i just swaped cars and told him to go have a good time. this was actually the first time that i had the car out after the rebuild and i really put it through the test!! She is pretty nasty camaro from 25-100 mph.

You should be able to get to the bolts on the inside of the fenders by removing the battery and smog canister. They will still be a PITA to see. But still a very easy process. At the bottom of the fenders you will find a bracket with 3 bolts that connect the nose to the lower fender extension. Use lots of PB Blaster on those, they are notoriously brittle bolts.

Hand the boy a socket wrench and tell him to go to work.
He's young and flexible... He'll figure it out.
Good Luck!
