Think I'm going to spend the rest of the night organizing parts... just got in another lot of like 400 pieces. Sorting what I need then putting aside what will go back up for sale...

I use the abrasive point to start the pilot hole for drilling, when necessary.

Drill progressively ledger I guess until it frees up then need to get what's left of the bolts out. Want to try and save the mount from too much damage if possible.

Still home sick but little energy to do much, stinks. Been thinking a lot about next steps and doing some online research...

New Stuff
Picked up new front subframe for the current project. This one came off a 72 Z-28 and is in much better condition than what came off the 71. Also has new ball joints, bushings, bearings, brake pads, etc... someone did a good amount of work on it which should save me some time and money. $200 well spent.

Do you hang out at Island much. I raced there every weekend on Super Pro back in the 22006 thru 2008 seasons. I have an orange 73 Firebird with a black vinyl top. Runs in Super E.T.

Embarrased to say it but I've honestly never been there. I've lived here since 94 and I hear the cars every weekend from my yard but never went

Think I'm developing "the eye" I walked into cluttered garage and spotted that bellhousing from across the room under a pile and went right for the casting number saw the 621 at the end and pulled it. Think that was the first thing I spotted haha.
