Personally I say no. It looks GREAT the way it is. I think that other color looks nice, but I like the stock look better myself.

I like both. Both on my list of choices for mine (or something similar). I do like the 75 factory color code probably more than any other. Don't think you could go wrong in any way with it. However, I'd choose the brandywine over it by about 1/2 a %.

If it were as simple as laying paint down,I would be a positive yes. You do need to know, that paint like that isnt just something that even a decent body shop can lay down out of the can. That paint starts life as a large amount of very expensive paints, and needs an expert painter to lay it down. Thats a about 3 quarts of base color such as black or silver, followed by about a gallon and a half of candy color then followed by a gallon of clear, and all those gallons and quarts are EXPENSIVE. If your paint guy is used to doing production type work and doesnt have the tools or skill to lay it down,it will end up looking like paint soup. If you had a car ironed out razor straight, sealed, blocked, taped up,wiped down and parked in the booth ready to paint,a good shop would hit you about 3 grand just to go into the booth and apply the paint and supply the materials, then hand you the car back as is.

+1^ Candy colors are awesome and I wanted to do mine in Candy Apple Red at first. But then I found out the costs and how difficult it is to do correctly and evenly (I wasn't painting it personally). The other thing to consider is if you get any chips or scratches in the paint you can't just touch it up, you may have to do the whole panel and then matching the original is unlikely. That's why I decided on a base/clear combination in a color that's close to candy apple, at least for me.

Dont ever paint a car and plan on touching it up if you or your painter is a real painter it can be touched up. I had a 67 ss camaro that I painted metal flake pearl and a ladder fell on it and I was like I will never be able to touch it up but when I was done you could not even tell where the repair was.
