Russell twist lok gas hose question

Has anybody used the Russell twist lok gas hose and fittings?

I'm about to install 8-AN hose and Aeromotive SS fuel pump. I have heard about fumes coming out of some Russell hoses and I'm not sure if I should use this twist lok for my project.

Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thank you in advance!
