76 camaro window stops (upper)
I had to remove my windows for body work. I am trying to install them but now my windows roll up too high.
1) Is there an adjustment
or
2) Are there supposed to be some sort of upper window stop
I am not missing any pieces from when I took it off.
Post pictures if you happen to have any.
Much appreciated

Inside the window tracks at the top there are some metal stops that are held in place with one bolt. They keep the rollers (and in turn the window) from advancing too high and are removed when you have to take the glass out. They are metal pieces that are 1/4" thick, 1.5-2" long and as wide as the window track and have "half circle" ends to accept the window roller.

no prob- I am sure you could come up with something on your own if you are missing the exact pieces

Thanks JThomas,
I took a trip down to Laughlin, Nevada / Bullhead City, AZ but when I get back, I will check in the doors to see if I have them. I swear two steps foward and one step back. I'm so close to being done but something stupid and simple always pops up and takes weeks to resolve sometimes.
So.....I totally appreciate your office and will be in contact.
Have a great upcoming weekend.

to remove a side window ... it is really as easy as taking the 2 upper stop bolts out ??
If so, I may look for a driver's window to replace my scratched up one.

I believe you need to remove the track on the window as well. But that is only 2 nuts as well.
