brodix hv1000 manifold
ive just got my motor back in my car got ive brodix18* heads and brodix hv 1000 manifold, ive noticed my carb is laying back more than normal! ive got the old motor on the stand with an edlebrock manifold ,it seems they cast them to compensaite the lay back of the motor to make your carb near level, problem ive got is, now with this brodix top end its laying back, does anyone else use this manifold? will i have problems with loss of fuel in the bowls of the carb when i accelerate?

Use a tapered (like a wedge) spacer

If it works for a drag car, I highly doubt it will run dry on a street car.
Worse comes to worse, and you have enough power to worry, stick an extension on there.

so mrdragster are you saying i should be right with it laying back 4-5 degrees? i could use that wedge but ive got clearence issues with my cowl hood.

I'm half senile, and may be missing what you're asking??
If you are worried about uncovering the jet's, or running the bowl dry when you take off, I wouldn't.
Like I said, I don't know how fast you are, but you won't run dry unless it's a pump issue,
and if you have enough power to uncover the jets when you nail it, get extensions.
You can also get a little extra bowl volume by using a vent extension.
I always run vent extensions, mainly because when I launch hard or throw the chutes,
fuel comes out, but it also lets you run the float higher. Which gives you a little more volume.
