The Astro LVLP guns are the best low priced gun on the market.

I agree,Astro has been around for many years and they make a good long lasting product. I have never used them as a paint gun but have used for primer. I always use a De Villbiss or a Sharpe to paint with.

I bought this kit from Auto Body tool mart a while back for $165. I use the primer one alot. I like it. Sprays great. Only complaint is the POS paint cup. The lid gets cross threaded every time u use it. But overall a great gun -Matt

I havnt found a way yet because of the "hook" at the top. If that able to be removed it would work with a different cup. Have been thinking about getting the DevilBiss Cups kit where it has the soft cups that you up in a hard plastic up and spray. This way u can spray upside down and never loose feed. Would be a good upgrade i think. -Matt

HF disposable paint cups. . .especially for epoxy primer. Use once and toss. They run .50cent a piece on sale.

I only have one paint cup that I like and it is plastic. It came on a cheap gun from HF and they may sell it alone. It is a female thread so only fits those guns. Screws right on to my Iwata and is easy to get the lid on and off plus easy to clean.

If you have crossthread probs they make cups with lids that merely snap on. . .which is fine until some clutz like me bumps it and spills a liter of clear coat. . .OUCH!
