has anyone used these? i cannot get them to fit my 81 camaro with sbc 350 at all. hits everything lol

Blue 1981 z28 4 speed with SBC 355 and 4.11 rear end. 12.43 at 121.72mph, but best ET at 12.23 at 113.4.

I've used them for 29 years, 2 different sets. They are not fun to install but I remember having to jack up the car pretty high and remove the starter.

i got starter out, but i have the 7 qt pan and scatter shield, so i am thinknig that is my problem. i am going to try jacking up car

Same with mine...only way to get then in is from under the car, jacked up as high as you can get it.
Starter and clutch linkage/z-bar needs to come out. Starter will need to go back in prior to tighening the header bolts too with the kickout pan.
