Best Primer for filling imperfections?

What do you guys recommend for primer that fills in scratches the best? I am by no means a pro body guy, but I try. Thanks

i have restored several second generation trans ams, and i really like evercoat slick sand on the metal, and ppg delfleet surfracer on the bumpers/spoilers,

the reason i like slick sand is because i cant stand a car that has any waves/ripples in the bodywork and at least with the cars i buy i have to use filler from the top to the bottom of the cars to get them pretty straight, then slick sand a few good coats and block out and they come out real straight the way i like them and also slick sand does not shrink as much as normal primers so i am told and hear, and slick sand is cheap 50 dollars a gallon in my town it is however a little harder to sand its basically like glaze filler that you can spray, you cant use slick sand on the bumpers and spoilers cause its to hard of a primer itll crack, thats where i use the ppg delfleet surfrace i use it because i work at a local autobody in town and we do alot of work for a airplane company and get the primer dirt cheap, before i had the connection i used montana high build urethane about 80 dollars a gallon
