Decided to go with reproduction doors, the originals were full of rust. Pics of fitting new doors and rear window repair.

LOVE your car. Seeing how you did the floors was quite helpful because I have been wandering what all is involved in doing that. My '78 is in major need of new floor pans. Is that grey stuff around the edges the glue or or is it the seam seal? What kind of rust protection and seam seal did you use?

Caleb,
The grey stuff is seam sealer. The floors took forever to do, those are the first (and last) ones I have done. I think it was 3m seam seal, and I coated the floors with Eastwood rust proof, and undercoated the bottoms. Inside was coated then a layer of dynamat. Also used a rust proof spray with a aerosol hose to get in all the holes and under the supports.

I'm no expert, so search this site for more ideas. My nephew (he is now 30 years old) is a painter at a local body shop, he gave me a lot of advice.

The guys at G Force turn out some really nice work. Yours is looking great too!

Did Ben Hermance do your rendering? I couldn't make out the signature under the rocker panel on my phone.

Car was featured on the Chevy Hardcore online magazine; not sure how it got there or where they came up with the info for the write-up (I guess from another forum I visit)

Some of the comments are funny, 'can't polish a turd" is my favorite...no love for the big bumper camaro!! (outside of this group anyway)
