Front / Rear Window Molding Clip Question

I have a 73 that came with a vinyl top from the factory. The car is being repainted and I will not be re-installing the vinyl top.

Does anyone know if the front / rear window trim molding clips are different for a vinyl top car vs. non-vinyl top?

Thanks.. Jim Miles

I wouldn't think so. The clip acts like a spring in the way it pulls against the mouldings inner lip toward the sheetmetal.

There is no difference. I just did the same thing with my car and the replacement clips were the same as the ones I removed.

Body shop supply house would be the cheapest, or Moementum would have them.
