mp40 has ruined cod5
Is it just me or is anybody else tired of everybody using the mp40 on waw? I remember when cod4 first came out and everyone used the m16. Infinity ward apparently got some hate mail from gamers that were tired of getting worn out by the m16 and the unfair advantage that it had been given over weapons, and fixed the problem with one of the first updates or "patches" for the game. Why cant Treyarch get their head out and do the same thing? I love the maps on cod5, but there is no way I should be getting sniped from all the way accross the map by a friggin mp40. Anybody feel the same way I do?

if it were up to me, I'd get mp40s while everyone else got slingshots... but hell... I'd still get fragged.

My only complaint..... is on the kill cam when someone picks you out from a dark spot or from like 3 miles away and kills you with like 1 - 2 shots... with WHATEVER weapon. I can't understand how in the hell they can see someone there and it's not like they are SEARCHING for you, they just put they're gun up and you're dead. WTF?
OR how about when someone lobs a grenade and it just happens to fall at your feet and explode as soon as it hits the ground. Once in a match I can understand... but I've been killed like that by the SAME PERSON 2-3 times in a match on multiple occasions.
It seems like there's some cheating going on, so much so that I only hop on Live maybe once a week if that.
Oh and what's the friggin point of having the Zones??? I'm a "recreation" zone player and get paired up with Pro and Underground people ALL DAY LONG. Keep those geeks the hell away from me.

As for the grenade thing, I think that's because they hold onto it longer before throwing. If you hold down the button to throw, but don't release, the timer on the grenade counts down, and you can throw it hot, ie, it should explode mid air or so right?
The Zones thing pisses me off too. I picked recreation too, cause I thought it would be cool to find low-key players that didn't want to talk trash and cheat.
But the hard core gamers and kids, like to go there now, so their cheats and trash is more effective with rec. users than other hardcore guys.

Yeah but hitting guys from all the way accross a map with a grenade... AT THEIR FEET... MULTIPLE TIMES.... seems a little cheatty to me. Hell... I'm lucky if I can do that ONCE in a game let alone 3+ time to one person... how many other people is he killing like that???

I pretty much wore the game out. I'm just trying to reach 65 again in my 2nd presiege (sp?). But the mp40 does suck when you are on the bullet end of it. But if you play hardcore it doesn't matter what gun you use. it's pretty much 1shot kill. Takes a bit to get use to, but worth it once you do.
Core is to much run and gun. With people jumping and bouncing aro8und like it's halo.

I had the same problem for a while, but I did alot of fine tuning with my brightness and contrast on my tv and its a night and day difference. Also, I belive that the size of your tv gives you an advantage as well. I went from a 27" to a 42" 1080p and now I see things that I never knew were there.
Also there are certian places that people always hang out or hide. sometimes I just point my gun in the general direction and shoot. you would be suprised how often you will hit someone. I killed a guy on "castle" from all the way accross the map with open sights on the kar98. I could'nt even see him, but I knew he had been hanging around up there for most of the match.

That was you!! Damn Cheater.. I dont usually have to much of a problem with cheating, seem like most of my games are pretty cheatless.. I had one on Makin, where I empty my entire clip in my Sniper Rifle and all I did is get him to last stand, this is where he sniped my with his pistol..

LOL, been there done that. Last night I had pretty much the same thing happen with the mg42. The host of the match always has a great advantage, especially if he is using the mp40 with juggernaut and last stand.
