Leather or Vinyl
Has anyone put full leather on the front/back seats? Does it look good with a 1970-79 car or totally out of place?

I'm sure it's been done, but I don't think I've ever seen it in a 2nd gen Camaro. 10th Anniversary 1979 Trans Ams came with leather. I would think that if done well, it would look great!

I have done a few, they look pretty good when mixed with the right color vinyl. I'll look through some of my old pictures and see if I can find some good shot's of them.

I've never seen a full leather interior in a 2nd Gen but I'm sure it would be nice.
One thing to keep in mind is that some of the very high end vinyls are just as nice when it comes to matching the attributes of leather but actually more durable.
One example is Alcantara which is a synthetic suede thats superior to genuine suede when it comes to durability and so on, hence its use in sports cars and exotics.

Those 4th gen seats do look good. Is the seat height the same?

Do the leather. With the right stitching and design they can come close and it will be softer. You can do that then add a suede headliner and package tray. Slick.

Cool, thanks for the input! If I do the leather, i planned what you were thinking damon, with 2 tone. suede on doors, dash and console as well as headliner.
Do the 4th gens bolt in same places Bonzo? could be a nice option!

Scott wishes he had leather seats in the back too. (Also 4th-gen)
