Well just wanted to update everyone. Got about an hour of stripping done before i had to go to work. I got off at 8pm and went out there and worked. Other than a supper break i worked up until now and did pretty good. Cleaning the sides of the frame rails is a PITA but its still not too bad.

However i did get bitten by my grinder tonight. I let off the trigger and the wires caught the side of a bracket and kicked the grinder back. Instinct i tried to catch it and it caught the glove of my pinky finger. Tore the glove to hell and did some rippin on the pinky. Its all good though, washed it out wrapped it up and back to work. I see once again why they say BLOOD, sweat and tears. LOL

Im fixing to clean up and hit the bed for the night. Gotta be up at 7:30 to get ready for work at 8:30. When i get off at 3 ill be back at it to see what i can get stripped. Im off sunday so I hope that by some luck and can get the majority of the trunk and frame rails painted. We will just have to see. Until tomorrow good night NastyZ28.

LOL well i think part of it is wanting to cruise this summer and another reason is all the new shiny parts i have... i cant wait to see them on lol.

Steve,
Im so glad i had gloves on and the wire wheel was worn out because a fresh one to bare skin could have equaled a nightmare. Hate to hear that you were a victim of the grinder. I never really thought it would kick back or shoot off the wires quite like it does.

Well today i didnt quite get all i was wanting to done. I had a buddy come out and help clean the floors some. Got alot of the small cracks and corners pretty much cleaned out there is still some left but im gonna get all i can and thats good enough. I didnt get about 95% of the passenger wheel well stripped. Already started on the driver side. I think im gonna paint the inside of the frame rails and other spots before painting POR15. So that will set me back. But i want to get everything together and painted on wednesday. My frame coating comes in tuesday.

Ill tell ya sitting inside the wheel well stripping undercoating is a dirty job. My neighbor asked if i had just gotten out of a coal mine lol.

I did find 2 pin holes in the trunk floor that was right under the spare tire bracket. So im gonna clean that up and POR15 it. There is metal behind the pin holes so it should be fine. Enough rambling. Now for the pics.

Driver side wheel well stripped some what and smaller detail stripping done:

Passenger side:
