Its probrably possible but you'll be shifting! I went 11.4's with 50 less cubes but more compression & bigger cam & automatic. everything else is very simular. I dont even want to guess anymore, I expected more outta mine. If I had your combo Id be shooting for low 11's high 10's myself.

Id have to say mid to upper 11's depending on your 60' time. Also what kind of heads are you running on that motor. Suspension is the key factor in this!!

I love the guessing game......
I weigh 3550 race weight
4:11
496 cubes
13:1
400 with a brake and slicks
10.73
You will break that 5 speed b4 you will ever get close to low 11's. That being said, look at the MPH if you can get that thing around 119-120 that is a low 11 car with traction. JMHO
I would say an auto with tire that should run 11.30's

bski224- the heads are (racing head service 220), they have had some minor porting, mostly just a clean up.
vegas1974z28- I hope not to break the trans. Tremec said the tko 600 could handle quite a shock load and a consistent 600 ft/lbs but i guess there is that word "could" in there.
i'll take 11.99 that would make me happy for now but i've got the bug pretty bad, so im sure i'll want more. but this is a street/stip car and i would like to keep it that way since it will see more street than strip.
if i went auto, what would be a good set up for the trans and converter on the street? would it still be good at the strip?

What will the TKO 600 take? The 6 speed in that Viper can't be stock.

My sig line says 11.5 with an automatic. Your setup is very similar. Shift quick and good luck!

In the works - nastier 406, shooting for mid 10's.

I'm putting a Viper T56 in my Camaro, it is the tougher of the T56s, so I'm told. I do know that the output shaft is really beefy on the T56 that I have.

You should go 11's easily.I used to run my current engine combo with a Muncie M21.Best it ever ran was an 11.60 with the 4 speed.Granted it was a lot of fun,but clutch changes and inconsistancy got the best of me,so I went auto.

John Wright- that is a cool video but i dont think my trans would take that kind of power . But that Viper T56 does look beefy.
Mwilson- ya im going to atleast see what i can get her to do. i had an auto in my last car and it was definetly not as fun to drive.
grog- 600 ft/lbs is what it is rated at.
yobin67-i sure hope it does 11s easy that would make my day. if not guess i'll have to look into some spray.

You'll have to master these 3 things first.
launch
traction
shifting abilities.
Engine is way over kill for low 11's.
