Winter Restoration Projects in the House?

What kind of restoration projects can be done in the house during this cold winter? I'm bored and looking for stuff that does not make to big a mess or smell bad. Any ideas?

Interior work.

You can take the seats out and detail or re-cover them if they need it.

Dash pieces can be removed, cleaned, and re-dyed. Re-dying will involve spray paint so you'll need to have a way to exhaust the fumes.

Same with door panels and while they're off you can remove and detail the window cranks and latch/lock mechanizims.

That should keep you busy inside.

Put a old towel down grabsome polish and polish up air filter covers, valve covers. The polish doesn't smell too bad os it'll be okay. touch up gauge bezels with paint pens or model paints, polish wheels, tires... the list goes on and on. Trust me I know what your going through, my garage is under my house so in the winter I can't go crazy with painting and stuff other wise the whole house stinks, I gotta waint till spring so I can open the door before I go painting crazy!
