The valve covers that are on there now are original 400 pontiac valve covers. I wanted the more original look.

The floor is gone except for over the frame rails.
The first fit of the toe board on the passenger side.

You should feel real bad. I would be driving this car if it wasn't for you giving me good sound correct advice. I wanted the short cut to make up for my loss but Rick set me straight. More pics to come tonight. The whole dash is out except for the wiring. Drivers side toe board is cut out and the final fitment for both sides should be finished tonight.

Looks good...
I will get my spare bottle of co2/argon filled tonight/tomorrow so we have plenty of gas for all the welding .
I have put together all the necessary tools I think i need for the task.

Between my garage tools and yours I think we will be fine. My main concern right now is getting the rest of the floor out by Saturday. Those little spot welds get hard to find under 40 years of crust.

OK extra bottle of gas has been done....Hopefully we won't go through 2 bottles welding your car back together
