Rob told us a trio of grey beards was good luck when working on a Poncho.

Daniel, if you were out here helping you would of had about five coats on and not been able to even move. I have to let the older people feel important. LOL They made me do all of the bolts on the bottom of the car.

I traded the valve covers in the above pic for Pontaic 400 chrome valve covers. I have the air cleaner but I need the chrome top.

Pictures to come later today. Heres a list of what I have done.

cleaned and painted gas tank
cleaned, painted fuel sending unit, new seal and reatiner ring
welded up holes in the trunk
blasted and painted tranny pan, dip stick tube, and brackets for floor shifter linkage and bolted all on the the turbo 400
bolted on factory chrome 400 valve covers
bolted on thermostat housing
pulled the complete front suspension out of car
blasted and painted control arms, spindles, dust shields, turn buckles, and coils
took off all of the front drum brakes and mounted the correct spindles for discs
installed new upper and lower ball joints and control arm bushings
cut 1/2 coil off of springs and installed all of the above front end parts
pressure tested my 4 core radiator that I bought at a swap meet
drop off radiator at shop for two leaks
blasted, painted, and bolted on torque converter cover
blasted and painted air cleaner
installed the correct (rare) firebird window on the drivers side.

That's it for now but things are moving pretty quick right now on the car.
