color codes
Although the colored wires are in different positions on different cars. Is the function still the same? I'm refering to the turn signal / horn / flasher switch wires running down the stering column. Example: is the light blue the left front turn signal no matter what position it is installed in on the column switch. The reason I ask is I have seen several turn signal switches and not one of them is the same. Didnt that get confusing on the assembly line? My car is a 1978 by the way. The wire positions sure dont match the diagrams.
